Dr. Brad Beauvais is a proactive educator, consultant & leader in the field of health care management with a primary focus on quality improvement of the industry via evidence base development, network collaboration and construction of long-term mutually supportive relationships. He is intensely interested in consolidation and dissemination of leading management practice solutions that transcend the traditional barriers of the healthcare setting.  

Dr. Beauvais currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Trinity University - specializing in applied finance, financial valuation, business case development, organizational improvement and quality management at the graduate level.  He also serves with the Commission on Accreditation Healthcare Management Education in various capacities.  He is a Joseph M. Juran Fellow in Quality Leadership and Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. He is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt with experience managing multiple diverse projects and an active online educator with extensive working knowledge of the Blackboard, Sakai, Angel, D2L, eCollege, and Canvas course management systems.

Brad is a retired Army Medical Service Corps officer.  He resides in San Antonio, TX with his wife, Nancy and three daughters.

Jeffrey R. Kemp, Senior Vice President

With over 30 years of hands-on business transformation, facilitation, and teaching experience in the areas of Human Resource management, logistics, training, and strategic planning, Jeff is a proven leader in strategic planning and change management.  Jeff was part of the Army’s first Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Master Black Belt training course, is a certified Franklin Covey Facilitator, and a Balanced Scorecard Professional (BSP).  As the United States Army Reserve Director for Business Transformation, an organization of over 205,000 Soldiers and Department of the Army Civilians, he oversaw the streamlining of mobilization, training and deployment of Army Reserve Soldiers and Units to provide greater combat effectiveness in Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom, while simultaneously leading the Army Reserve Headquarters staff reorganization to reduce wasteful spending.  Most recently, he was a primary instructor for both military and civilian students for the Army LSS Black, Green and Yellow Belt curricula, in the Office of Strategy and Innovation at the world’s largest school of allied health, the United States Army Medical Department Center and School (AMEDDC&S).  In addition to mentoring many Black and Green Belt projects to completion, Jeff has developed databases, integrated technological processes, and manages all Balanced Scorecard metrics for the AMEDDC&S.

Jeff is a retired Army Air Defense Artillery officer.  He is an avid flight simulation and table tennis enthusiast. He resides in San Antonio, TX and Atlanta, GA (and spends a lot of his free time at the nearest Home Depot).

David "Scott" Hencshel, President

David “Scott” Hencshel is a Business Transformation Leader, facilitator and teacher with over 25 years of federal government experience in healthcare leadership, business transformation, strategic planning, process improvement, change leadership, and education. He is a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, certified Balanced Scorecard Professional (BSP) and a GE Healthcare trained Change Agent and Sponsor.  Scott currently serves as the President of Potentia, LLC, a consulting firm in San Antonio, Texas and as the Director of Special Staff and Deputy Chief of Staff for the world’s largest School of Allied Health.  He also serves as a primary instructor for the Army Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Black Belt, Green Belt, and Yellow Belt curriculum. Scott has facilitated the development of numerous Balanced Scorecards in very diverse industries to include government healthcare, private schools, and private health clinics.

Scott is a retired Army Medical Service Corps Lieutenant Colonel Master Aviator rated in both rotary and fixed wing craft.  He satisfies his inner-artiste by playing the piano and is a self-proclaimed Chopin aficionado.  Scott resides in San Antonio, Texas.
